Welcoming Al Taylor as Activate Perth’s new CEO.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Al Taylor as the new CEO (fractional) of Activate perth.
Al is a visionary business leader with more than 35 years’ experience across media, communications, brand strategy, and organisational transformation. He has successfully led high-performing teams and delivered cultural and commercial growth across a broad range of sectors.
As co-founder of strategic consultancy Taylor Simpson Jones, Al has advised numerous organisations on business, brand, and communications strategy—helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes.
A former Activate Perth Board member, Al also brings a long-standing commitment to Western Australia’s cultural and creative sectors, demonstrated through his leadership and advocacy across a range of not-for-profit, arts, and community organisations.
In this fractional CEO role—designed to provide focused executive leadership while accommodating broader consulting commitments—Al will lead the next phase of Activate Perth’s strategic evolution, working with the Board and stakeholders to deliver a renewed vision, sharpen our impact, and strengthen our long-term sustainability.
