Activate Perth x Healthy Happy Hoops
The Active Perth #FillThisSpace team was reminded this week why we do what we do.
We’ve connected landlords that have commercial space in the heart of Perth with 11 tenants so far, including emerging businesses, entrepreneurs and not-for-profits. It is part of crusade to build a magnetic city of substance and soul.
One of the very first #FillThisSpace tenants to move in was Happy Healthy Hoops. The brainchild of record-holding hula hoop champion Bree Kirk-Burnnand, Perth is now home to a studio specially set up for hula hoop classes.
And Bree sent us a note that truly melted our collective hearts.
“This was literally a dream come true, I really appreciate the fact that I got a chance to give it a go without having to invest massive amounts of capital. I've learnt so much from it, it's invaluable!”
It’s all part of our dream for Perth to be a proactive city, full of active participants and it’s an honour to have energetic, proactive occupiers like Bree as part of the crusade.
