Activation Army Brainstorm
The saying goes that no army can withstand the power of an idea whose time has come.
So it was for Perth's own Activation Army on manoeuvres last night on The Skydeck of The Northbridge Brewing Co. For some, it was a refresher following participation in the Perth City Summit.
For most, a chance to shoot the breeze with a cross section of Perth's most enthusiastic folk which unleashed a torrent of simple, fabulous stuff to make our city more liveable and loveable.
Next steps? The Activate Perth board will finalise 2018/19 plans during the weeks ahead. The most popular ideas from the brainstorm, as voted by the Army, will be incorporated into the plan and include Neighbourhood Parties, Noongar bridge artworks, a community garden, pop-up playgrounds and laneway namings and events.
